"Macro Citizen" This week's Citizen Screenshots of the weeks are all about getting as close to your subject as possible! I want you to scour the verse and get as close as possible to anything and everything, use the lighting to help illuminate the subject and look for ways to force the camera closer! It's one of my favorite forms of Photography, in and out of the Verse. As always No photoshop, No Ai or Ai Upscaling. DSR is absolutely allowed, any setting in the Star Citizen menu you can edit post screenshot with the exception of Dept of field. You must use the Ingame Depth of field. Check out @Mr_Hasgaha page - (hasgaha.com/2020/07/16/star-…) for his camera guide. Play around with the focal range and DOF in the advanced camera to give it the illusion of Macro depth. For Macro distance from subject. (estimated) 1"-3" Close range 5"-8" Mid Range 10"-12" Long Range We will be looking for Clarity, Depth of field and Focus Below of some examples I've taken in game. 1- Fire Extinguisher 5-8" 2. Spent some time watching the discourse and am happy most folks seem to get what I’m getting at, and while I can’t respond to everyone that doesn’t, I’ll elaborate a bit. Going to Bar Citizen is optional. We give up our personal time to do it, and I’ve LOVED it for more than 11 years now. But I don’t like being deceived any more than you or anyone else would be. That’s it. I’m not talking about legalities as some folks are. I’m not talking about secrets (I shared the info willingly so that can’t POSSIBLY be what it’s about.) I’m saying I don’t like to have my choices taken away from me. And I’m saying that if it keeps happening, I won’t want to go to these things anymore, which will make me very sad. That’s all. Anything else anyone is trying to make this about can do as they wish, but it will never make it so. I just don’t want to lose loving something I’ve loved for more than a decade. It’s really nothing more complex than that. ❤️
