Sound system selectors, this summer’s single is out! 🕺🏿🕺🏿🕺🏿🕺🏿
Buju Banton’s much awaited single Butterflies from his new album is now out. It is on the Real Rock Riddim.
A little bit of history. The Real Rock Riddim was first created by the Jamaican band Sound Dimension, which was part of the legendary Studio One house band. It was produced by the legendary Jamaican producer Coxsone Dodd in 1967.
This riddim is one of the most reused instrumentals in reggae and dancehall history. It has been versioned hundreds of times, forming the backbone of countless reggae and dancehall songs across decades.
Buju’s version was produced by Grammy Award-winning Chinese-Jamaican producer Supa Dups. He has produced for big names like Bruno Mars, Drake, and Rihanna.
“I see potential ina your eyes, I wanna love you for life.”🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
