The Wind Up Drill is an advanced overspeed training drill featured in the SuperSpeed App protocols It exaggerates weight transfer into the lead foot during the downswing, teaching golfers to maximize their ground reaction forces. How to Perform the Drill❓ 1️⃣Set Up: Take your normal golf stance with a SuperSpeed training club. 2️⃣The Backswing: As you wind up into your backswing, lift your lead knee off the ground, similar to a pitcher’s wind-up motion. 3️⃣The Stomp & Swing: Forcefully stomp your lead foot back down onto the ground to trigger your lower body, and execute a maximum-effort swing. This drill is the ultimate progression of the Step Change Drill where you practice initiating the downswing by stepping forward into the lead leg. Because it is a more advanced movement, it requires high sequencing and coordination to unlock your maximum speed potential.

🙌🏼”The app is extremely easy to use and very well organized.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️New SuperSpeed App review from Bjohns1911 “I’ve been doing SuperSpeed training for years, and this is by far the most complete golf speed training app I’ve used. What impressed me most is that it’s not just overspeed training, it really covers every part of athletic golf performance. I completed numerous sections of the app including rotational sequencing, lag & wrist mechanics, fitness protocols, warm-ups, ball speed application drills, counterweight training, and overspeed training. I also used some of the ground force reaction drills alongside force pedals, which added another level to my training. The biggest surprise? I actually hit a new speed PR even after years of doing overspeed training. I think the combination of the rotational sequencing drills, lag/wrist mechanics, and ground force work really helped unlock more speed and efficiency in my swing. Most of these drills only take 10–15 minutes, so they’re easy to add into a daily routine. What I really liked is that the app helped more than just my driver speed. I noticed improvements with my iron play and overall swing motion on the course too. The drills translate into better movement patterns and better golf swings in general. The app is extremely easy to use and very well organized. Every protocol has videos walking you through the exercises and explaining what you should be doing. I also like how it tracks stats and progress over time so you can actually see improvement. Another cool feature is the assessments section, which almost acts like a physical screening tool to identify weaknesses or limitations. The app truly feels like having a golf speed and movement coach in your pocket. I don’t currently own the Force Board Pro or Squeeze trainer, but after using the app I’d definitely love to add them because everything integrates together really well. Overall, I’m extremely impressed. Whether you’re trying to gain speed, improve movement patterns, warm up correctly, or just become a better athlete/golfer, this app has pretty much everything.”

How to Transfer Speed to the Course❓ One of the biggest mistakes golfers make during overspeed training is never testing those gains with a golf club and a golf ball. While SuperSpeed training helps increase your body’s speed ceiling, transfer happens when you learn to apply those new movement patterns to actual driver swings. That’s why combining all-out driver swings with a PRGR Launch Monitor is so valuable. The PRGR provides immediate feedback on club speed and ball speed, helping reinforce maximum intent and allowing you to track whether your training gains are showing up where they matter most Research on overspeed training consistently shows that intent is a critical driver of speed development. When you regularly challenge your system with maximum-effort swings and receive instant feedback, you improve both motor learning and speed retention. To bridge the gap between training and performance, the SuperSpeed app includes Ball Speed Protocols specifically designed to help golfers transfer the speed and feels developed with the Speed Sticks into actual driver swings. These protocols blend overspeed training with measured ball striking, helping convert swing speed gains into more distance. 📽PGA Pro Michelle Edgar

The PRGR Portable Launch Monitor makes a great gift for Fathers Day. Here is what @LINKSMagazine had to say about it their 2026 Gift Guide. “This PRGR portable launch monitor packs an impressive amount of data points into a pocket-sized unit. It uses a high-quality doppler radar sensor to gain those data points, which include swing speed, ball speed, carry distance, total distance, and smash factor (which is ball speed divided by clubhead speed—an indication of contact efficiency). You just place it behind the ball and let it do its thing while you do yours. For a product this small and at this price range, it’s a gamechanger.” linksmagazine.com/2026-fathe…

🚀How Fast Should You Swing Each Speed Stick? Your target swing speeds for each SuperSpeed stick are relative to your current maximum driver swing speed. Because overspeed training requires you to swing weights that are lighter than your normal club, each stick should be swung at maximum effort as follows: 🟢Green Stick (Light): ~16% to 20% faster than your driver speed 🔵Blue Stick (Medium): ~12% to 15% faster than your driver speed 🔴Red Stick (Heavy): ~8-10% faster than your driver speed Target Speeds your driver swing speed is currently is 95 mph your goal is to swing the Green stick at 113 mph and the Blue stick at 109 mph. Keep working to increase speeds for each speed stick and track your data in the SuperSpeed app to watch your driver speeds keep climbing. 📽@samingham5 has professional player @nicklaus_mason moving better and faster in the gym. New PR of 153 mph with the green stick leading to 125 mph club speeds and 186 mph ball speeds🔥

🚀Horizontal Swing Drill ➡️This drill looks more like a baseball swing than a golf swing, but it is designed to max out the rotational motion of your golf swing while working on sequencing and focusing on generating speed with the upper body and arms.  📱This drill is in level 2 of our SuperSpeed C Club training program in the SuperSpeed App. The C Club is counterweighted to reduce the resistance of the club head releasing around impact, which helps train maximum arm/hand and release speed in the golf swing. You can use the SuperSpeed C on its own or in conjunction with the SuperSpeed Golf OverSpeed Training System. superspeedgolf.com/products/…
