There's a kind of film/music criticism on here that I find so boring where someone with a clear chip on their shoulder about their pet social commentary thing sees everything through that lense and that is the extent of their analysis

I think getting emotional about these kids who are like "what am I gonna do" is akin to an alcoholic who refuses to quit drinking because they think life is too boring otherwise. I wouldn't take much stock in it
