Here is a catch up on what's happening at the Bowman's. Jay left his job (dm for details) and will be interviewing at Publix this afternoon. It's his second interview and we have hopes that he will find his place there. My time is pretty much absorbed in seeing Jay settled. He broke his finger and we have been going to Occupational Therapy regularly. He sees his doc tomorrow and hopefully the brace comes off. He started with Adaptive Fitness, so we've been going to gym and events two to three times a week. I'm super happy for Jay. God is doing an awesome work in his life. The downside is I have little time to write or put together the YouTube series on how discernment works that I have been wanting to produce. (For those who don't know, Jay is my adult son who has an intellectual disability). I've finished my 4th book and it is with my publisher who is considering it. The verse that stayed with me when I first read the gospels was Matthew 5:8: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." I wanted to "see" God so much, but my heart was a mucky mess. Later I learned that the word "see" means to perceive accurately. A heart purified of wrong beliefs enables us to see God as He is.
