Delighted to have a short memoir in this exciting, newly released anthology from UWAPublishing. Academic and imaginative writing from such stars as Anna Haebich, John Kinsella and David Whish-Wilson. Great cover, too!
Excited to be talking to writer and friend Bindy Pritchard about my new collection of short short stories, Miniatures. Open Book bookshop in Mosman Park, Tuesday 6th September. Here's the link: eventbrite.com.au/e/author-c…
My new book, published by the fabulous Night Parrot Press. Acclaimed poet and my dear friend Lucy Dougan will launch Miniatures on 9th July. Love the cover, too!
I'll be talking about my latest novel Everyday Madness at the wonderful Lane Bookshop in Claremont. Saturday 9th October, 10 am. It's a free event; you can book on

Would love to see you there!
Thrilled to be in the new edition of Portside Review, with a story called 'Three Acts of Reading.' Among other things, I have a go at One Nation: defamation suit pending?
Finished my round of Melbourne bookshops to sign my new novel. Meant to be coming back to Perth tonight - waiting for the WA premier's announcement about borders. Help!
Great to meet Camilla (right) and Haniya (left) at Avoca Hill Bookshop in South Yarra, to sign copies of my novel Everyday Madness. Check out this impressive bookshop when you're down that way.
I've had the great pleasure of reading an advanced copy of H.C. Gildfind's superb novella 'Born Sleeping.' My review will be appearing in Westerly, but in the meantime, you can order a copy through the publishers, Miami University Press. It's unmissable!
Thanks to the wonderful Amanda Curtin for the opportunity to discuss my new novel 'Everyday Madness' on her fiction blog: amandacurtin.com/2021/02/26/…
A fabulous book of flash fiction - 100 stories by WA writers - edited by Laura Keenan and Linda Martin. I've contributed three stories. SO much fun, and much less arduous than the hard grind of writing a novel (although that's fun, too). Huge congrats to all the writers.
Thank you, kind readers. Would you believe that the beginning of my new novel 'Everyday Madness' is a re-working of that short story? It's the only time I've ever wanted to develop one of my stories. For complicated reasons!
