🇬🇧 Wrapping up a great few days in London en route to Houston. Quick takes from the road. Energy lawyers @bakerbotts hosted an energy forum where panelists seemed not too worried about the Strait of Hormuz, noting “oil will flow no matter what” and more pipelines are being discussed, BUT “there’s no pipeline for LNG” so they expect LNG prices to remain elevated.

Three new U.S. LNG projects have reached a positive final investment decision this year: Venture Global’s CP2 Phase 2, Caturus’s Commonwealth LNG, and now, most recently, Delfin Midstream’s Delfin LNG, which will be the U.S.’s first floating LNG project.
