Racing Friends & Family are in Indianapolis for the PRI Trade Show at Convention Center. W/multiple pedestrians hit recently, I’m asking you to slow down, & mindful that racers like to go fast, so watch out for them rushing across a street in front of you ! Thanks! 📸#just4fun

NEW: About 60 Amish community members from central Pennsylvania build 12 tiny homes in Boone, North Carolina in just two days. The men had to head back home but are coming back in January to build more. Not only did they donate their time, but they also donated about $300,000 to complete the project according to High County Press. Local man Luc Henry says he was inspired by the Amish and will be finishing up the homes to help Hurricane Helene victims. “I was talking to Aaron, the name of the Amish gentleman leading the crew, and Aaron explained to me they are here building temporary housing units for people displaced by Helene,” Henry said. “They erected everything from the outside in, framed out the walls, framed out the roof, ran the electric.”

Not just on New Year’s Eve, remember this EVERYDAY!
When I’m told I need to deliver a death notification, the weight of it hits me immediately. My chest tightens, my stomach sinks, and my heart skips a beat. I know I’m about to share news that will change someone’s life forever. When I arrive at the home, I knock on the door and take a step back. I often see the family through a window, walking through their living room. They wave or smile at me, trying to greet me warmly. That moment is incredibly hard because I can’t smile back—I know I’m about to bring them the darkest moment of their life. When they open the door, they usually ask, “What’s wrong? What happened?” That’s when I begin by confirming their name and if I’m at the correct address. Once I know I’ve got the right person, in the right place, I notice something I’ve seen many times before—they start taking small steps back, almost fading away from me. I don’t think they even realize they’re doing it. I think it’s their body trying to create distance from an unwelcome moment, knowing deep down that something devastating is about to be said. Then, I deliver the most difficult words anyone could ever hear: “It’s my sad responsibility to tell you that your son has died in a crash.” “It’s my sad responsibility to tell you that your daughter has died in a crash.” “It’s my sad responsibility to tell you that your mother has died in a crash.” “It’s my sad responsibility to tell you that your father has died in a crash.” In those moments, I often see one of three reactions: 1. They collapse. Some fall to the floor, crying in a way that’s impossible to describe. I kneel beside them, and often, I cry with them. 2. They go silent. Others stand frozen, their faces blank as they try to process what I’ve said. They’re lost, unsure of how to move forward. 3. They push me away. Sometimes, I’m told to leave or forcefully pushed back as they yell, “No! Don’t say that!” But I stay because no one should face that moment alone. These moments stay with me and the family involved. Tonight is a night meant for celebration—a time to welcome the new year, look forward to fresh opportunities, and start anew. It shouldn’t begin with tragedy and heartbreak. Please make safe choices tonight. Don’t drink and drive. Use a designated driver. Protect yourself and your loved ones from the pain of ever having to face this kind of moment. Be safe, Trooper Ben

You go, @RobSchneider!
Hey Jimmy Kimmel, It’s me “Wheezy” the unvaccinated person who a few years ago you said you didn’t want Doctors to help if I was in the hospital but would rather have me die in the hospital corridor. That was hard to watch because we were censored and kicked off social media if we dared question the government’s narrative. But you weren’t censored. You were free to say whatever you wanted, including making those who disagreed with you get more attacked and feel more isolated. But the other night’s emotional monologue of yours was not as hard to watch. Please save your tears for the American Mom and Dad, who for the last 4 years because of Democrat policies, had to decide whether they should buy groceries or fill their gas tank so they could either feed their family or drive their children to school and then drive to work because they COULDN’T AFFORD BOTH! You see, it’s easy for you and Oprah to lecture hard working American parents who both have to work to make ends meat and live paycheck to paycheck because you and Oprah are RICH, FLY PRIVATE PLANES and if food prices go up 26% it doesn’t affect you or YOUR Family at all. If the price of avocados went up to $5,000 dollars, you and Oprah would just eat five grand guacamole. Wealthy Liberal elites who live in guard gated communities are immune from the destructive Democratic policies that have so deteriorated our nation’s cities. The average American family is not afforded that same luxury…and safety. I would say a better focus of your emotions would be on repairing your Democratic Party that moved so far Left that they Left the American people behind. So, you are mistaken in your monologue when you said that “Americans who voted for Trump made a mistake, too.” No, Sir! The American people made a correction against policies that they could no longer stomach. And policies that their country could no longer afford. And it was an overwhelming majority of Americans who made THEIR choice. A choice for a better more affordable America where Free Speech is not under attack but reaffirmed. Make no mistake, this election is an overwhelming and clear mandate for change. And change is needed. And change is coming. I sincerely wish YOU and all the people who voted differently than me all my very best and I will continue to cheer for your success and for the success of ALL Americans. Respectfully, Rob Schneider
