A very important Edward M. Bannister painting which I authenticated last year, identifying it as a lost painting of the historic Smith's Castle in Rhode Island, is coming up for auction this month in New York at Swann. I'm very proud of my research, particularly as I did it all during the worst parts of chemo. The painting is very beautiful - a wonderful example of his mature work. catalogue.swanngalleries.com…
