The WSJ has criticized the Gaetz nomination for AG. Why are they surprised? This is what the guy they endorsed said he would do—run the DOJ like it’s purely a retribution shop. Why are they bothered about it now? Don’t they trust their guy’s judgment?

Gaetz goes for broke. Does he think this means the ethics investigation stuff won’t come out?
