Battle of Bandanwara (1711 AD) — the last battle fought between Kingdom of Mewar and Mughal Empire ⚔️🛡️🔥 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 🔸: Maharana Amar Singh II had captured Mandalgarh, Badnore & Pur-Mandal after Aurangzeb’s death. But the Mughals had not granted any written deeds for these 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙨 (territories). After the Maharana’s death, Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah (Aurangzeb’s successor to the throne) granted the 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖 of Pur-Mandal to Ranbaz Khan in early 1711 AD, who moved with a very large army to take control of the territory. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 🔸: Mughaliya and Mewari forces met near Khari river. Ranbaz Khan, along with his brother Nahar Khan, and all his chiefs were slain on the battlefield. Maha Singh of Kanore fell in the battle while Jai Singh of Badnore and Samant Singh of Salumbar were wounded. The Rao of Begun had sent his 𝙆𝙖𝙢𝙙𝙖𝙧 — Kothari Bhim Singh of Begun — who fought with great vehemence & vigour and fell in the battle fighting bravely. 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 🔸: The Mughals had archers on elephants & horses but the Rajput onslaught was so quick, that the Mughal archers could draw only once before the Mewar cavalry reached very near and hand-to-hand combat ensued. After a bloody combat, the battle ended in a decisive victory for Rajputs who succeeded in retaining control of this territory. Mughals fled with the remaining army to Ajmer but their camp was captured by Rajputs.

Battle of Haldighati was a stalemate at max, not a victory for the Mughals. Many reputed historians have already challenged this narrative on the basis of solid reasons. PS : I was actually planning to drop a proper thread on this topic but had to drop the idea due to low reach.
#OnThisDay Raja Man Singh, leading the Mughal forces, beats Maharana Pratap at the Battle of Haldighati on 18 June 1576. Wellington beats Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.

Of course you’ll find such disgusting behaviour ‘based’, that’s just how filthy a race you belong to. After-all, these are the values passed down by your rapist dasyu ancestors from generation to generation. Lol, look who’s talking — a ₹2 troll who hides behind an anon account himself, being aware that his butt will be pulverised if he made such comments in public.

On the things deccani Sultans, we have an early marathi bakhar which was composed in 1578 AD (As per Sardesai many of its portions are earlier than 16th 1550s). The highlight it gives are very juicy & interesting to note on the so-called Hindu Dharmarakshaas resistance. [ 1/2 ]

Najayaz aulad of Rajputs think ‘harem’ was composed entirely of Akbar’s wives. In reality, it lodged all females of the Mughal Emperor’s family (including his mother, aunts & sisters) and was even divided into different sections housing dancers & singers and even female guards & superintendents — the ones who actually patrolled the inner chambers. How is protecting women something to be ashamed of? Especially when Rajputs were the only men chivalrous enough for Akbar to trust around women. Being illegitimate offsprings of Rajputs themselves, Marathas suffer from a deep-rooted insecurity about their shameful origin, which ultimately leads them to take a jibe at women of other communities. But let’s not forget how even the most elite of their shoorveer ancestors were raising & grooming their own daughters solely to be the wives of Muslim kings. While Maratha men were seeking employment as low-ranking mercenary troops for Deccani Sultanates themselves.
Putting this WhatsApp fanfiction aside, Rajputs are the lowest of the low. The only community that didn't just happily sell their own daughters into invaders' harems, but willingly degraded themselves to stand outside and guard those same harems like spineless security guards.

Ek baap ki aulad hai to dikha de where were Rajputs targeting women in these interactions. Meanwhile, here’s how an average Mahatatti sees women 👇

Yeah, he’s a Rajput. That’s why he has enough shame to realise his mistake and publicly apologise for it. Meanwhile, let me show everyone how much respect filthy animals like you have for women. Thread on Marathas & their respect for women. I’ll keep adding to it : [ 1/n 🪡🧵 ]

Mind you that in all of these interactions, no Rajput handle had insulted or dragged Maratha women in the argument. And yet, this is how they reply — by making obscene remarks on someone’s mother & sister — when they can’t counter an individual using facts & logic. [ 3/n 🪡🧵 ]

Here’s another neech whose account is full of obscene tweets & memes on Rajput women. Look how he’s passing rape-comments on our mothers & sisters and even morphed vulgar image of a Kannadiga devi. These are the same bastards who larp as ‘Hindu-Dharmrakshaks’ today. [ 🪡🧵 4/n ]

Nah, that’s Yusuf Adil Shah — first Sultan of Bijapur — with Kheloji Ghorpade (@MamalkatMadar’s ancestor) who was given jagir, mansab & title of Raja by his Muslim master. Their love was such that Kheloji not only served the Sultan faithfully but even sacrificed his life for him.

Marathas have a habit of making a big deal out of everything, even something as common as punishing a criminal. There was even an instance of Peshwa Baji Rao being eager to punish one Malhar Pandit for troubling Maharana Jagat Singh. So what’s the point of dragging-in caste here?
Gau-Brahman-Pratipalak Maratha Empire 🚩 Maharaja Rajashri Jayajirao Ranojirao "Appasaheb" (Jayappaji) Shinde King of Ujjain was granted a Sanad, to avenge an Audichya Brahmin who got murdered by a Rajput Lalsingh. Lalsingh was thrown out of Malwa and his Jagirs were seized.

Abey ganwar, theek se padh. Akbar crowned himself the Emperor of Mughal Empire. Rajput nobles simply allied with him and supported his rebellion against his father (Aurangzeb) for obvious reasons. It was pure politics, not like the Rajputs had started issuing coins in his name.

This line was not said by any Rajput. It was said by Mughal Princess Jahanara Begum to boost the morale of Rao Anirudh Singh Hada and his small band of Rajputs before they fought & defeated a much larger Maratha army, thereby saving her honour. @MamalkatMadar is a shithead who has a habit of taking snippets out of context. Meanwhile, here are more than 14 – 15 generations of his haramkhor ancestors loyally serving Muslim Sultans 👉 x.com/syngh_unleashed/status…

@MamalkatMadar chal ab agar ek baap ki aulad hai, to contemporary source dikha de of Durgadas Rathore saying anything like this 👇
You cry like a bitch 24/7 about contemporary sources but citing a historical-fiction written in 1967. The real haramkhors were your Ghorpade ancestors who shifted allegiance from one Muslim master to another while loyally serving each one of them against their own blood-brothers.

Haramkhor ancestors of @MamalkatMadar 👇
Amongst all Maratha clans, Ghorpades have the longest history of bootlicking Muslim Sultans. Despite shifting their allegiance from one Muslim master to the other, they remained ultra loyal to each one of them and fought their own Maratha blood-brothers against national interest.
