そういえば負荷がどれくらいか見てなかったのを思い出して、動く敵を出して確認してみたけど、最後のところ、地上物だけで40体あるところで100%を超えてた。 画面録画すると、パフォーマンスモニタがおかしくなるな。 そんだけ出せれば十分だとは思うけど、高速化ってどうすればいいんだろう。

背景を描き出す時にpal()で一色だけ違う色に変えたらどうなるかなとやってみたら、想像以上にいい感じに雰囲気が変わった。これは発見だった。 背景の色変えはスターフォースもやってる。
Jelpiの完璧すぎるフェードアウト(右画像)を改めて咀嚼し直して、ちゃんとフェードイン/アウトを入れた。多分四度目の正直くらい。 あと、地上物破壊SEがとてもいい感じにできて大満足。

A little personal thought today. I'm honestly a bit sad to see my view numbers dropping so much lately. What surprises me most is that my original music gets very little attention compared to my covers. My latest original track even features a super cute PETSCII robot animation that I created myself, and I really thought more people would enjoy it. 🤖❤️ I was actually considering making a T-shirt with the little robot on it. I even wore one myself at X 2026. But with so little interest, it probably wouldn't make much sense. It's a bit disappointing that most people seem to come for the cover songs, while the original music I put so much passion and creativity into often goes unnoticed. Still, I want to thank everyone who listens, comments, shares, and supports my work. Battle Isle 2 (1994) by Blue Byte was hugely innovative at the time, had excellent graphics, music and cutscenes, a brilliant story - and yet failed to be commercially successful. Maybe it was the limited market (developed by a German studio primarily known in Germany) or the lack of marketing power, who knows. It was the first strategy game to feature 3D combat animations and unit displays using raytracing and vector graphics. It also offered a huge variety of units for air, sea, and ground combat, including 12 experience levels for each unit (greatly affecting battle outcomes). The whole series is gravely underrated and overlooked, one of my all-time favourites, and yet I wonder if many non-German players have ever even heard of it, let alone played it at all. I would love to see this one as a remake or being tackled by an indie dev project. If you are out there - DM me, not even joking, I'd pay for it.
