HNoMS "Otto Sverdrup" exercise Norwegian sovereignty over Svalbard. The frigate is currently patrolling the areas of Spitsbergen, Bjørnøya, Longyearbyen. In addition to showing presence, talks are held with the governor of Svalbard about preparedness and interaction.
