There was a storm today. Thunder so loud the windows were shaking.
And outside I suddenly heard a little kid crying. Then another thunder strike hit and the child screamed:
“Mama, it’s a rocket…”
That honestly broke me.
Because somewhere else a child hears thunder and keeps playing.
But our kids already know these sounds too well. Their first thought is fear. Rockets. Explosions. Danger.
And maybe the worst part of this war is how normal that fear has become for them.

A gamma radiation level of 12 μSv/h was recorded, which significantly exceeds the natural radiation background and threatens human health.
