For the first time in nearly 1️⃣0️⃣ years MASCOT and the Remote Handling booms are in place in the Torus Hall to enable this summer's in-vessel projects - analysing the absorption of tritium and other elements into first wall tiles, and removing tiles and components for further study - which represent the first stage of JET's Decommissioning and Repurposing programme.
