This kind of absurd roadblock in a contribution process directly drives away trans people who may have safety/stalking concerns, and anyone else who has reason to keep their information private.

PSA: @Railway has nothing to do with Ruby (as Iβd assumed) and is actually the most delightful way Iβve found to deploy Rust services so far π₯°π¦. Go give it a test, took me like 5 minutes from signup to deploy an existing Rust GitHub repo.

If GitHubβs copilot is actually in violation of software licenses thenβ¦ sue them? The only way to test if those licenses work the way you think is to test them. And if they donβt, then we need new licenses! Iβm just confused why I see so much anger but no action.
