Yesterday we had a great kick-off to the 24/25 academic year. Meaningful professional development took place ,including Tim Wise reminding us of the importance of our college continuing to address issues of equity, diversify, inclusion, belonging and anti-racism. @tacomacc
Earlier this week I concluded 4 days of learning and connection at AACC’s Presidents Academy Summer Institute. I learned a lot and was able to connect so many amazing colleagues. @tacomacc

The Spring Symphonic Band Concert was amazing! There were also some social moments. TCC Alum Piero Ramirez (currently at PLU) premiered an original composition. And, Isiah Tagaleoo (Finalist for Student of the Year) announced he is transferring to North Carolina A&T!@tacomacc
Today was the first day of the annual Charting Our Future Conference, held by the Foundation for Tacoma Students. Today’s keynote address was by the amazing Geoffrey Canada (Founder, Harlem Children’s Zone). Today was a great day! @tacomacc
