Managing Defence in the Wider Security Context Course was held at the Roraima Duke Lodge in Georgetown Guyana this past month! Our very Captain Smith was a part of this training that was designed to deepen understanding of Defence Management, Defence policy formulation etc.

This past week, personnel from the Turks and Caicos Islands Regiment along with the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force and the TCI Fire and Rescue has been trained in USAR (Urban Search and Rescue).

Members of the Turks and Caicos Islands Regiment engaged with Rugby players from various schools such as the HJ Robinson High School, Louise Thomas Garland High, Provo Middle School and Wesley Methodist.. They were graced with a demonstration by the TCIR K-9 Unit.

Over the past few days our Troops along with personnel from the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands and Jamaica has been participating in a series of training which includes: Rope Work, Flood Defense, Vehicle Recovery, Casualty Extraction just to name a few.
