6. Mugesh This man frustrated me because he was both right and wrong at the same time. What he did wasn’t exactly good, but I understood the pain behind it. Imagine being looked down on by your younger brother simply because he has more money than you. That kind of disrespect cuts deep. He carried so much hurt with so much dignity that sometimes I found myself rooting for him even when I shouldn’t have been. He deserved better than the hand he was dealt.

7. Essie Yoh, Essie was an emotional warrior. 💔 This woman endured years of pain, rejection, and denial from a man who wanted the benefits of having a family but didn’t want to publicly claim them. Watching her and her daughter go through that was honestly heartbreaking. And that’s why I understand the obsession. Not because it was healthy, it absolutely wasn’t, but because it came from years of wanting recognition, validation, and love from someone who kept moving the goalposts. The saddest part? She was a real one. She genuinely loved that man. Unfortunately, she loved him more than he ever loved her. At some point, she stopped fighting for love and started fighting for a fantasy, and that’s where she played herself. And can we PLEASE discuss the boy toy? 😭😭😂 Ma’am!!! But jokes aside, I wish she had spoken up much earlier, especially after everything that happened with Matipa. There were so many moments where honesty could have changed the course of things. Instead, she carried everything alone until it became too heavy. Essie’s story is honestly one of the biggest lessons in the show: no matter how much you love someone, you cannot force them to choose you. If a person keeps showing you that they don’t value you, believe them the first time.
