This year’s TCS team was different. ⭐️
Players come to our program to become better baseball players… but the truth is they become better men. These young men live with us for a year. We feed them, train them, teach them how to lift, study, communicate, manage time, handle finances, change a tire, jump a car, do laundry, strengthen their faith, and navigate real life. 💪🧠🙏
They show up looking like men… but most are still boys inside. By the time they leave, they’re prepared for life.
On the field, this group won more spring games than any TCS team ever. They dealt with adversity that most teams never face—losing their head coach mid‑season to an incredible opportunity at his alma mater, and losing their pitching coach as well. A lot was thrown at them.
They didn’t just survive it… they THRIVED. 🔥
And their character showed even at the end—when there was nothing left to “hold over their heads,” they left the dorms and facility the cleanest any team has left it. That says everything about who they became.
Now they’re heading across the country to junior colleges and universities, with several uncommitted guys about to make their decisions soon. 📚⚾️
TCS Team #12 — THANK YOU.
You set the bar high for every team that follows. Your legacy is bigger than baseball. 💙
