We must remind ourselves that "evidence-based practice" is never neutral, but rooted in ideological perspectives of how schools ought to function and how teachers ought to teach.
What if t's were given time to consider this?
We'll soon find out.

Hi everyone,
Due to personal circumstances, I'm taking a break from the podcast for the foreseeable future.
In discussions with others about what the long term future might look like.
Thank you for your support of the podcast for the past 11 years!
Episode 249 had a glitch when publishing, leaving large sections silent.
This has been fixed. Please delete your file and re-download.
If there are any further issues, please let us know!
This a request for help for a podcast guest who is dying.
In 2016 we interviewed @KillerMartinis, American author, photographer and anti-poverty campaigner.
In recent years, while photographing protests, police shot her in the face with rubber bullets.
Linda usually does this bit but this time it’s for her so I’m doing it.
Dying is expensive especially when you can’t work.
Help her out here:

A 1 star review said we're 'becomming too political'.
Our second episode in 2013 was about the politics of education funding, and a constant refrain is that education is inherently political because it's shaped by political decisions.
We're proudly political. Always.
