In 2016, 70-year-old Lawrence Ripple robbed a bank in Kansas because he said he would rather go to prison than go home to his wife.
He handed the teller a note demanding cash and warning that he had a gun. The teller gave him $2,924.
But Ripple did not run. He walked to the lobby, sat down, and waited for police. When officers arrived, he told them he was the man they were looking for.
Ripple later said he had argued with his wife and decided prison sounded better than going back home.

Homie in s1 is more rounded and controlled. Its shown in billy's flashbacks as well, he does the act of "knows what he's doing" but that was the point of season 1. Exposing all the heroes as supes with lines to read, fake saves and a product to sell. Its pretty clear.
