Our great founder and first ever club captain David Danskin is buried at the London Road cemetery in Coventry Two local historians, one of whom is a Gooner, contacted the club as the grave had fell in to huge disrepair. The club totally revamped the grave and did an unveiling with some quite big names attending Coventry is my home town so I thought I had better visit. I took the photo about five years ago. It’s a huge cemetery and took quite a long time to find It was an honour to visit the man who we owe absolutely everything to. Hard to believe but there is a WWI Gunner buried either side of David! #afc
