JUST ANNOUNCED: Nova Scotia announces $19.8 million in funding for transition houses.
This investment includes:
☑️$17.9M over four years to stabilize transition house operations.
☑️1.9M in project-based funding to support prevention and response initiatives.
We are devastated by the 8th femicide in NS since Oct 2024—7 linked to IPV. This is a crisis. Women deserve safety.
We need:
🔹 More funding for survivor support
🔹 Justice system accountability
🔹 Prevention & education
