Only got a few states in over the last couple years for my “50 Over 40” goal to run a race in every state after turning 40. The Frostbite 5k in Asheville, NC helped me knock out my 12th state. Goal this year: 5 more states. #50over40

Quarantoning Challenge #3 in the books. Made a goal to run my age in km (43 km / 26.72 miles) in one day sometime before Labor Day. Today was that day. Kicked my butt, but it felt good!
Quaran-Toning Challenge #3: Two difficult challenges under my belt, so time for a third. The most I’ve ever run in one day is 13.1 miles (21.08 km). I just turned 43, so the 3rd challenge is run 43 km (26.72 miles) in one day before Labor Day. Time to get to work!
All this Quaran-Toning has really prepared me for the next state in my “50 over 40” challenge to run a race in every state. Did a night half marathon in the desert landscape of Zion National Park in Utah last night. The most beautiful, most challenging run to date. #50over40

I received some advice about giving “one more” which was well timed. My Quaran-Toning Challenge is to run one more minute each day. My run last night was 53 minutes and today will be 54. The longer they get, the harder they get, but the more rewarding they are!! 💪 #onemore
