Congratulations to all the girls and boys who competed at the Area meet yesterday. Hazel Vowell is the 21 6 A Area Champion in the 1600 meter run and placed 4th in the 800 with a new school record of 2:19.57. She will be moving on to Regionals. @THS_Tigers

We had more personal best times recorded at Shelia Lofton Relays by several athletes. Josh Vilmael with a personal best time in the 100 meter dash, Malcolm Graham, posted a personal best in the 200 meter dash along with Ndubuisi Oguegbu. Great job to all! @THS_Tigers

We had some personal best jumps recorded at the meet as well. Neriah Akinyede in both the long and triple jumps, Munachimso Okeya in the triple jump, and Jaren Foster in the long jump.

Congratulations to freshman, Hazel Vowell, for breaking the school record in the 800 meters. Hazel recorded a time of 2:19.58 and a 2nd place finish @ the Shelia Liston Relays yesterday. She also placed 4th in the 1600 meter run as well. @THS_Tigers
