WI should be in the EU ETS to level playing field in EU currently some countries have it and some have taxes. It would incentivize recycling and installation of CCUS. Landfilling should be taxed more heavily/banned more quickly to avoid leakage

Largely under the radar. From 2023 waste-incineration plants in Germany will be subject to a CO2 price under Germany's national emissions trading system for heating and transport fuels. The estimated additional cost for operators - 13.8 Million € or 46%. euwid-recycling.de/news/wirt…
