Our Fourth Annual Turkey Trot! Grades 1-8 reunited with their school families on Friday to trot through challenges, write notes of gratitude, and play games—all while creating unforgettable memories together. There’s no doubt about it—family time truly is the best time! 💚🦃

🩺 We had a special visit in 1st grade from Dr. Miller, who taught students about stethoscopes and how doctors prepare for the OR. Students loved dressing up and learning about the OR💚

✏️🌟TLC 5th graders math fun with “Building My Birthday Dream” project, inspired by our one-school book Someone Builds the Dream. Using a budget, they planned a bday trip, making decisions on transportation, meals, & more! This project boosted math & real-world planning skills!

🧬🔬8th graders had an insightful lab extracting DNA from strawberries, learning about heredity & life’s building blocks. Geneticist Bethany Kelly, a TLC parent, discussed her work in inherited cancers & the role of genetic counselors, helping students learn about genetics.
