It's been suggested that #Overberg #Renosterveld was historically more grassy, with an increase in shrub cover & cover of renosterbos (Elytropappus rhinocerotis) thought to be as a result of overgrazing. But do the historians & researchers agree? bit.ly/31D4OD9

It has been a sad week for the fynbos community as we have mourned the passing of one of our friends and colleagues, Anthony Hitchcock. Anthony was a huge champion for fynbos conservation, and was truly one of the “fynbos fynmense”.
