McConnell has told people privately & publicly that he has 20 caucus members who won’t vote for any deal & he won’t put them in a bad spot. This is not a case of equal on both sides. He is especially emboldened after senate performance in election after doing this for years

With respect @mcuban, this is not a “both sides” situation. The Senate literally skipped town. They’re not even trying.
As much as it makes people feel good to say “a pox on both your houses” the fact of the matter is it’s a one-sided situation trying to escape accountability.

D&D is a co-op game, in which we weave fantasy tales for our mutual bliss.
If someone wants to play a hero in a wheelchair, for example, uphold their bliss, especially if that hero reflects their real-life experience.
We're all happier when we support each other like this.

Still thinking about Trump's pride in passing the MOCA test. He's ENORMOUSLY proud of it. To him, it proves he is a genius.
This means he looks at everyone around him, generals, scientists, artists, and imagines they would struggle, and probably fail that test.

I believe that what matters are facts and behaviours in our daily life rather than formal gestures that could be seen as controversial in some countries. I will not take the knee but this does not mean at all that I am less committed than others in the fight against racism.
