I don't know if Trump's goal was to destroy the entire concept of political satire or if that is just going to be a side effect

Doesn't sound like a guy who's focused on football.

Carson Wentz is invested in Philadelphia/South Jersey communities. It’s not just about him. It’s about family, friends, his AO1 Foundation, his Thy Kingdom Crumb food truck, friendships & relationships. I’m told he doesn’t want out of Philly & he hasn’t told that to anyone.

McConnell has told people privately & publicly that he has 20 caucus members who won’t vote for any deal & he won’t put them in a bad spot. This is not a case of equal on both sides. He is especially emboldened after senate performance in election after doing this for years

This is really the truth. Anyone who doesn't understand this doesn't understands the game they're watching. The GOP has the ball, and left with it.
Replying to @tedcruz
With respect @mcuban, this is not a “both sides” situation. The Senate literally skipped town. They’re not even trying. As much as it makes people feel good to say “a pox on both your houses” the fact of the matter is it’s a one-sided situation trying to escape accountability.

Movie Idea: My Cousin Rudy It's My Cousin Vinny, but with a less likable NYC lawyer who's been out of the game for decades and is now hilariously incompetent. At one point, co-counsel sits him down to watch My Cousin Vinny as a refresher on rules of evidence.

D&D is a co-op game, in which we weave fantasy tales for our mutual bliss. If someone wants to play a hero in a wheelchair, for example, uphold their bliss, especially if that hero reflects their real-life experience. We're all happier when we support each other like this.

In a very real sense, MCDM started when my mechanic, who I'd hang out with as his team worked on my car, listened to me bitching about work. He looked at me, very Dad-like, and said "Matt, if you're worth a dollar to them, you're worth $2 to yourself." I was 30.
I started working as a telemarketer 2 days before I turned 16. I’m 50. 34yrs. How much of your money do they got?

Still thinking about Trump's pride in passing the MOCA test. He's ENORMOUSLY proud of it. To him, it proves he is a genius. This means he looks at everyone around him, generals, scientists, artists, and imagines they would struggle, and probably fail that test.

Yeah, it does mean that, Chuck.
I believe that what matters are facts and behaviours in our daily life rather than formal gestures that could be seen as controversial in some countries. I will not take the knee but this does not mean at all that I am less committed than others in the fight against racism.

Since 2017: 1) 1 Super Bowl win 2) 2 division titles 3) 1 NFC Championship 4) 3-straight years in the playoffs (1 of 4 teams to do it) 5) 4 playoff wins (only Belichick has more) 6) 11-3 in Dec. It is time to put some respect on Doug Pederson's name 94wip.radio.com/blogs/eliot-…

@jack @twitter Where do you stand on accounts spreading conspiracy theories with no evidence? What rights does Martin Gugino have when someone so grossly attacks his character and reputation in public? No one should have the power to rob someone of their reputation like this.

Game Developers are publicly sharing their salary, not because they're trying to impress you with how much or how little they made, but because talking about salaries publicly takes power away from the owners who want to use the workers' ignorance to lowball them.

Interesting thread for anyone in publishing. I watched this happen on Cracked.
One of the weirdest yet important trends I saw in my years at Cracked is something that is rarely discussed: As readers migrated from browsing on desktop to mobile, their preferences and behavior changed completely, but NOT because readers got dumber/worse (they didn't). THREAD!

If you take the view that they think Hurts might need to be their starting quarterback for a significant stretch, that undermines everything they have said about Carson Wentz for four years, and the contract they gave him. They look stupid if he does play and stupid if he doesn't
