Cauthen served as the commander of the 134th ARW, followed by his service at JFHQ in Nashville beginning in 2018.

Yesterday, five TNARNG Blackhawk helicopters were sent to support state, county, and local emergency responders to assist citizens of #Kentucky impacted by flash flooding.
Governor Bill Lee authorized Tennessee guardsmen to provide this critical air-rescue support in eastern Kentucky in coordination with the Tennessee and Kentucky Emergency Management Agencies.
