*Ohio shaped LC LP vinyl update* Please read this post as I think this is very important information for clikkies, especially vinyl collectors. You may remember my post informing everyone of potential counterfeit Ohio shaped records... Today I can tell you with 100% certainty, they are fake. There is estimated to be about 175 fake copies, and an estimated 35-50 have already sold. How can you spot the difference? These are some of the indicators: 1. The RSD sticker shouldn't be flat, RSD stickers in 2015 had the word 'EXCLUSIVE' rise from the rest of the sticker. 2. The label. It's the wrong shade of red. On real copies, the label should almost be the same red shade as the vinyl. 3. The barcode is the wrong font. 4. There shouldn't be a protective sleeve included that's shaped like Ohio, those never came with real copies. For those of you who might not know, this is a very sought after vinyl for Twenty One Pilots collectors, there was only 4,000 of these released for Record Store Day in 2015, so this many counterfeit copies being added to the market is alarming.
