I was so glad to join the Indiana Youth Services Association this morning in marking the conclusion of this year's Make Good Decisions campaign. We'll continue to educate students and their families on the potentially life-saving option to text 911 in emergency situations.

I'm heartbroken at the news of Jackie Walorski's passing. She was an upstanding public servant, a tireless advocate, and a good friend. Our frequent collaborations revealed her passion for our country, and she never shied away from a challenge. She will be sorely missed.

Last week we celebrated the retirement of Ed Reuter as the @911VoiceIsBest Executive Director. His service to the state of Indiana spans a remarkable 48 years. To honor his tenure, Governor Holcomb awarded Ed with the Sagamore of the Wabash award.

Last week #TeamTOS traveled across the country to San Antonio, Texas, for the Treasury Management Training Symposium, hosted by @StateTreasurers. I taught a session on the importance of critical thinking in treasury offices. It was an awesome week!

My team and I visited the Tell City and Boonville PSAP (public safety answering point) locations last week. I enjoyed talking with the dispatchers and understanding the passion they have for their jobs. They are heroes working for Hoosiers 24/7!
