Today the @TPFFA joined @JoshMatlow at City Hall to announce a campaign to create Ontario’s first Burn Survivor Family Support Centre & museum in the old Station 135 on Eglinton Ave.

It will be a place for parents, families and burn survivors to have a home away from home while they are receiving treatment at Sunnybrook or Sick Kids.

The centre will feature individual units for survivors and their families from across the province so that they can stay together with the comforts of home and easy access to the hospital. We are extremely excited to see this project continue to progress!

Members of the executive board are in Windsor this week at the @opffa Convention, putting in the work to continue making improvements for all firefighters across the province.

Today, Toronto Fire Chief @ChiefJessopTFS, alongside @TPFFAPres James Reed, presented the crew of Station 412 with a rescue merit recognition for their exemplary service at an incident. Their actions truly exemplified the principles of courage, compassion, and service. #Toronto

Ontario’s firefighters thank Premier @fordnation for his steadfast support of the @runnymedehc's First Responders Post Traumatic Stress Injury Rehabilitation Centre. Firefighters experience mental health challenges more frequently than the general public due to their frequent exposure to traumatic events in the course of their duties serving the public.
