❔Hepatitis C often has no noticeable symptoms so we encourage Turning Point clients to get tested & hold a weekly clinic drop-in every Tuesday at Friar Lane. 🩸It takes just a quick finger prick test to find out & we can recommend suitable treatment if needed. @TurningPointUK

This year, let’s approach any resolutions we make with kindness & flexibility. If unmet goals bring shame or guilt, try rethinking them in a more positive and encouraging way. 💜 How can you re-frame your resolutions this year?

The 1st coffee morning of the year & it was great to catch up with the community, see some familiar faces, & make some brand new connections. Always good to meet other services & talk about how we can work together to better serve the needs of Leicester residents🙌

As we approach the festive season, a whirlwind of emotions can often arise, and that's completely normal—whether you partake in the festivities or not. If you’re finding this time of year particularly challenging, remember that you're not alone in your feelings. Here are 4 straightforward tips that might help ease the emotional load during this festive period: 👇 1. Prioritise Self-Care Amidst the hustle and bustle, it's important to carve out time for yourself. Engage in activities that nurture your well-being and recharge your spirit, whether it’s reading a book, enjoying a warm bath, or indulging in your favorite hobby. 2. Limit Your Social Media Exposure The holiday season often showcases highlight reels on social media, which can lead to overwhelming comparisons. Remember, it’s perfectly fine to take a break from screens and focus on what truly brings you joy in the present moment. 3. Stay Active With routines being disrupted, maintaining some form of physical movement can help ground you. Whether it’s a brief walk outside, a home workout, or gentle stretching, staying active can keep your mood lifted and your energy up. 4. Open Up About Your Emotions If you’re grappling with difficult feelings, don’t hesitate to share your thoughts with friends or family. Chances are, they may be experiencing similar challenges. Reaching out can foster connection and understanding, reminding you that you’re not in this alone. Remember, it's perfectly okay to feel a mix of emotions during this season. Take care of yourself, and know that brighter days are ahead.
