The Switch 2 is just on par with a PS4, the only difference is that the Switch 2 has a more modern chipset which gives it access to Upscalers like DLSS, but essentially the Switch 2 is just a PS4.
Pretty soon newer games are not going be be able to run on the Switch 2, you're going to see games like GTA6 not be able up run on the Switch 2.

Okay, imo now we can be pretty sure Switch 2 can't run current gen only games like Monster Hunter Wilds, FF16 etc. without some very serious development work and optimization. I think we can expect many PS4 level games to be ported to Switch 2 tho!

Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming says that Gears of War: E-Day cost more than 400 million dollars to make.
In a recent talk, he said the game and another one called Clockwork Revolution together cost over 500 million dollars. He called them a test to see if Xbox should keep making games only for their own consoles.
Older Gears games were in the $50–100M range (development only).
