Česká nanorobotika míří do vesmíru. Projekt CONREX je prvním světovým experimentem, který by měl na oběžné dráze testovat magnetické nano- a mikroroboty schopné odstraňovat nebezpečné bakteriální povlaky na palubě Mezinárodní vesmírné stanice. Reaguje tak na problém, který je ve vesmíru ještě vážnější než na Zemi. Bakterie tam totiž vytvářejí odolnější a agresivnější kolonie. Díky biofilmu se brání antibiotikům i běžnému čištění a mohou se nebezpečně množit v lidském těle, v průmyslových systémech i ve vesmírných lodích. Experiment vybraný k realizaci Evropskou kosmickou agenturou vzniká ve spolupráci @vsbtuo a společnosti @TRLspace pod vedením profesora Martina Pumery.
