I do want to provide some context on why I'm asking, this is NOT to bolster numbers. We have mostly referrals coming through, a waitlist, and more but we actively ensure we gate accepts each month. That is to say, we only let in x amount each month. Low and slow growth is the mindset (I always follow that up with, "like good BBQ"). There are however people I've hoped to see apply that never have. People I expected to that are either holding out, or maybe just honestly not looking for community. I've been leery to try and encourage people to sign up directly because I don't want people to feel pressured. The bar is high for sure, but if you're an experienced Dev working on Shopify this is the space for you. I've had some people tell me that it's not worth the cost for a paid Slack. I've had significantly more people tell me they'd pay much much more. I don't think cost is the issue so maybe the value isn't always clear in which case I haven't done the best job communicating that or who SDA is for.
