It's with great sadness that I bring news of the passing of Keith Walker, the founder of Thundersley Rovers Sports Club.
Keith formed the club in 1963 and launched the Thundermite (Thundersley's little mites!) League three years later.

It was an honour to welcome Keith back to Thundersley in 2013 as Guest of Honour for the club's 50th anniversary event and continue his legacy.
He will also be fondly remembered by Diss Town FC, with whom he spent many years after leaving Essex. God bless, Keith - and thank you.

Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Havens Hospices' Community Engagement Manager Jane Hopkins. We worked closely with Jane in 2021 when TRSC, led by then-Chairman Graeme Howlett, donated £10,000 to the Hospice.

Saddened to learn that Tony Osborn, who was a member of TRSC's committee in the 70s & 80s and ran one of the club's junior teams for several years has passed away.
A lovely man, he will be remembered for his big smile and even bigger heart. A big loss for the whole community.

Another tight one today 👀 A great way to pick up 3 points today as we come away with a 4-3 win against W&R. Some of the best football we’ve played today in the first half. We didn’t make it easy for ourselves and saw the game out taking the win.
