It's difficult to deter folks from littering - it helps when folks put waste in bins Most common forms of #litter found: Food containers, cans, glass / plastic bottles, cigarette butts, sweet wrappers, vapes & similar devices. Sometimes we find bags of domestic waste!

#Hoverflies are “true flies” they don’t sting or bite & come in a variety of sizes, shapes & colours some with striking colours / patterns. As their name implies many hoverfly species “hover” holding a steady position basking in the sunshine & are excellent #Pollinators

While the dictionary definition of Tidy is “arranged neatly & in order,” Tidy Towns groups are embracing #biodiversity by re-wilding areas all over the country. The #TidyTowns competition entrants are working to embrace the wild & spontaneous essence of our diverse environment.
