Dr. Maria Rodriguez shares her research on the impacts of disinformation on women of color political candidates and the relationship between gendered disinformation and online gender-based violence
Many WOC candidates and their staffers reported trauma of being the recipient of content that was false and was intended to harm
All interviewed campaigns had reached out to social platforms to take down abusive content. Only 1 campaign's request was honored.
