TVF&R crews responded with Hillsboro Fire & Rescue and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to an aircraft crash near Twin Oaks Airpark. Firefighters extinguished a fire involving the aircraft. One occupant was located deceased. Cause under investigation by WCSO and NTSB.

Update: Crews have brought the fire under control, with @clackamasfire and @LakeOswegoFire assisting. They found fire on the backside deck that had extended inside. No injuries reported; six residents and six pets evacuated. Thanks also to @WLPDNews and @AMR_Social.

TVF&R crews responded to Mountainside High School this morning for a fire in the woodshop area. Crews quickly extinguished the fire in the dust collection system and ventilated smoke from the building. No injuries reported.
The school was evacuated and closed for the day.
