I truly believe that the cancellation of the PS5 port for Gears of War E-Day is going to do more harm to the franchise and studio than good.
Exclusives didn't push the Xbox much this generation at the start, nor the Xbox one. The majority of titles will be on ps5 anyway.

Bad players think wallbouncing is hard so they don't play. Good players know it's not, despite it being layered tech. What actually gets you killed is bad positioning.
No wallbouncing in E-Day will highlight that MORE, not less. Meaning if you're bad, you have zero crutch now.💀

Microsoft changed Gears of War: E-Day to an Xbox exclusive at the last minute. If you want the ultimate proof of that, Xbox posted a podcast today and forgot to remove the PS5 logo from the E-Day art 😬 Xbox has removed the video now

I Played Empulse Early and holy fuck XDefiant bros are gonna be back with this one
You can instantly start playing no need to set anything up, I like the better than XDefiant movement with Splitgate's jetpacks and TF2 wallrunning & slide, movement and guns is beyond perfect (kinda how you would imagine it) The loadout system is like XDefiant too and its got all the attachments
However, and this is feedback, Mechs felt forced like one or two spawned on the map for everyone to get in, The cool pilot gameplay is competing with the coolness of the mech imo, I truly feel like non mech playlists should be available will be mainstream if theres no changes
Other than that the game is ready to ship imo, game is paid and I think that anyone who played XDefiant will swiftly pick this up

Unbelievably stoked to finally have E-Day get properly shown, so much passion and hard work has been put into making this game.
Working on this game has been a genuine dream come true for me!
