Barring the fact that HIS WIFE was a stay at home mother for over a decade, I never understand the concept of discussing “dating preferences” when you’ve been in a relationship for so long. Why are fantasizing about having options?

Not every social courtesy is ‘performance.”Sometimes it’s just consideration and reciprocity. If someone is opening their home, feeding you, or hosting, offering help is simply acknowledging their effort and not auditioning to be seen as a good person.
