Been reflecting lately on my first year as a college pitching coach. Still have a lot to learn and experience, but here are 5 things I’ve learned so far about developing pitchers and managing a staff. 🧵:

Main stay in the middle of our line up for years. Plays harder than anyone. Look up the SB’s & HBP. Hits with 2k. Knows how to play the game. Kid is an old school throwback type player. Someone is going to get a steal. Please reach out with any questions @FlatgroundBats

You are only as good as the pitches you swing at. Conversely, you will be bad if you swing at bad pitches. Good hitters swing at good pitches to hit. Bad hitters swing at bad pitches and miss good ones.
