Player Spotlight Q&A with Talan Dobkins C/o 2028|Mooresville High School|📷: MLB,RB| 3.617 GPA|6’0| 225Lbs Best 2025 moment 1. A moment from last season that stands out to me is when we beat Martinsville and won back the M. Describe your style of play 2. The best parts of my game is my pre snap reads and my ability to attack the run. Biggest 2025 hilite 3. My highlight of the 2025 season would have to be my forced fumble against Greenwood. Favorite opposition stadium 4. I enjoy playing at Decatur the most with that being a big time rivalry for us the fans always bring the energy. Toughest place to play 5. Again I would probably have to say Decatur since the fans always bring the energy. Best advice and from whom? 6. The best advice I’ve received as a Mike linebacker came from my dad. He said, “to make sure you’re patient to make sure you don’t get lost in the mix of the play.” All Star Game? 7. It would be a huge honor because I have been going to watch it since I was a little kid. Best thing about your school? 8. The best part about being a student athlete at Mooresville High School is wearing your gear to school and talking to your peers about the game. Favorite part of practice? 9. My favorite part about practice is the high intensity and the physicality. Is portal impacting recruiting? 10. Yes, I believe the transfer portal has made it harder on high school players because coaches can just go and get a guy that they know can already play on that level. Favorite sports movie 11. My favorite sports movie is Remember The Titans. Favorite athlete 12. If I could sit down with any athlete for an hour it would be Luke Kuechly because I love how fundamental his game is.
