Two fabulous peer mentors who do an incredible job supporting their friends 💪
With our crazy schedule, today was their last day this semester—and they went out strong with a student-led workout they created themselves.
Proud of their leadership, creativity, and heart 👏
Just finished this episode in which @chrisahrens interviews @AlBocian it’s a tight interview, covering a lot of ground in a little time.
My #1 Takeaway:
1. Expose all students to games that were designed for those with disabilities, it’s inclusive and the games are engaging!
Great to hear from someone who approaches #AdaptedPE from a different angle like @Coach_J_Porter
His passion for building strength and fitness in all students shines through in this episode.
“PVC pipe” as the #1 item to have for class was not on my bingo card!
Curious if any teachers out there have used iOS shortcuts to automate parts of their professional life? I recently found one that I tailored to be a note completed by me after class regarding what was taught. Each entry is added to the same note and they're all in one spot
I really enjoyed this episode. I've noticed the last year I've been very reflective on the environments I create. I still believe a Unified, integrated, or inclusive model can be positive but it requires more nuance than we generally give it.
🎙️New episode! We chat w/ Doctoral Student Bailey Ollila (Old Dominion Univ) about her recent paper on Unified PE & Sports. More specifically, we dig into:
🔹 Policy implications Research gaps
🔹 How “unified” spaces can still reinforce inequality

Playing around with visuals that can fit in my pocket. How are they feeling on one side and a PE version of a core 40 board that I worked on with an SLP. It is double sided and on terra slate paper which is waterproof and can't be ripped. I think I'll do more visuals this size
We're back! It has been quite some time but Episode 22 is out with Drs. Amanda Young and Melissa Bittner to discuss @CSULB_APE one day workshop on Nov. 7. justadaptit.com/podcast/epis…
