To Mark Carers Week, we joined forces with Dale from the Community prevention and engagement team and went along to Blackburn with Darwen Carers to engage with residents/staff and visitors. Good job the bus has a canopy!!. @wearelscft

Today I joined forces with the Harri Bus,The new Job Centre plus bus and Furness Carers at Booths supermarket in Ulverston. Despite the rain and wind , the hardy Cumbrian folk came for info and chats throughout the event. Did someone say it's summer??

Pride Season has begun. Talking Therapies will be having a presence at as many as we can. Sally and Laura attended Barrow Pride last weekend and had a lovely day engaging with the community @WeAreLSCFT

Friday was Social Prescribing Family Wellbeing Day in Barrow Park. Was a great day until our gazebo took off in the wind..lots of families enjoyed the interactive stalls. @WeAreLSCFT

Last Thursday eve I attended Haslingden's Mens Shed for an evening geared towards improving men's mental health. Was a lovely warm eve, perfect for chatting outside. Tony Curry provided an entertaining talk Tall Tales For All Men. @WeAreLSCFT

Rachel from the Burnley Talking Therapies team will be attending the one stop shop held at Burnley Wood Family Hub on the 1st Wednesday of each month 9-11am so drop by for a chat.

Went along to Royal Lodge over 55's private apartment/supported living development in Thornton with Harri. Was really please by the interest and enthusiasm of residents ..we had a steady crowd all day and everyone was in high spirits. @WeAreLSCFT
