sevii islands my beloved. this is what i appreciate in pokemon, the ability to fill in the gaps. in any modern game, this place would be filled with lore, infodump exposition and narrative heavy cutscenes to try to instill a story and meaning. sometimes, the world needs mystery.

i don’t feel like i can give FRLG a fair, unbiased review ‘cause when i think of it i see it through the lens of the elaborate storyline i made up in my head as a kid. 10/10 game. this is where i imagined blue realizing he was wrong, completing our slowburn enemies to friends arc
