Settler state efforts to combat climate change and mitigate compounding disasters due to it—like the Maui fires—are becoming weaponized to steal water from Indigenous people. Climate change is real, and so are the colonial actions employed to address it. washingtonpost.com/climate-e…

One of my friends on Facebook pointed out the difference between APTN and Citynews. I always wonder how many people it passes by before it publishes. I'm guessing at least 3.

My kind cousin attacked, unprovoked. RCMP have only laid the minimum charge on one man. This should be a hate crime case. They encountered a white man on the street moments before and left him alone. Heartbroken as I once again tell my 6’2 son to never go anywhere alone.
***TW*** Footage of my indigenous partner being attacked, unprovoked, in Battleford, SK by 3 white males. Our 6 y/o daughter was in our truck and is traumatized. Also attached is the public statement by my partner. Police found them but have laid no charges. Share widely.
